Merry Christmas!
I hope everyone had a great Christmas! I sure did. I got to see grandparents and uncles, my aunt, cousins, great grandparents and many more...what more could a little guy ask for? My day began at my house where mommy and daddy came in with a video camera to tell me it was Christmas, if I may toot my own horn, I had a very cute reaction. My dad is trying to to see how he can publish it to the blog so you all can see. Then we went to my Grandma and Grandpa's house in Indiana where Uncle Todd and Robbie were there. We had so much fun...we opened presents, I ate the paper, it was great. Then we, I mean mom and dad, packed up the car and we headed to Ohio! I was too excited to sleep the whole time in the car, but I did as good as someone strapped into a contraption facing backwards could do. When we got to Ohio tons of people were there! We again opened gifts and played games. I was pretty worn out, but refused to nap. Can you believe they wanted me to miss out on the events to take a nap?! Today I am having yet another Christmas. I knew I had been a good boy, but this is getting ridiculous!!! Enjoy some pictures...

My Big Day
This was quite a weekend. Not only did I have my first real snow, but my grandma, grandpa, uncle Kyle and cousins Keaton and Chaney came over to play. We went to the Children's museum where I rode the carousel and a GIANT slide. I had so much fun! The next day mom and dad dressed me up like a little man and paraded me in front of the church. I think there was more to it than that, but I was so mezmerized by the lights and the crowd I hardly heard what the Pastor was saying. It is a good thing mom and dad listen as I was dedicated, because they will need God's help raising me :) Afterwards, my whole family had a party for me back home. It is nice when people fight over who gets to hold me! I had my four month appointment today. The doctor said I was a solid boy. I am doubting that had much to do with my state of mind and more to do with my 97th percentile rankings. I am in Ohio for a couple days while mommy and daddy go to New York. I am sure I will have lots of stories to share!

Sorry for the delay.
Yesterday was quite a day! I had grandma and grandpa over along with Uncle Todd and Robbie for Thanksgiving. There was so much activity going on that I couldn't sleep all day long! I didn't want to miss out on the Turkey (which after the looooong wait, I still didn't get any!) I should remind them that I have a tooth and one more on the way. Today I drove, well I slept and dad drove, to Ohio to see Grandma and Grandpa Brodbeck and a parade of lights. I hope I can stay up for it. Some more exciting news...I saw my first snow! Not enough for a snow angel, but enough to make it pretty brrrr. Well enjoy some pictures...

All I want for Christmas is...
my two front teeth! Can you believe that I am getting teeth? The bottom left tooth has broken through and I am ready to eat steak!! The excitement of my first tooth overshadowed the sadness of my THIRD ear infection!! I am trying to have all my teeth in by Thanksgiving so I can have some turkey. I was trying to post pictures and failed. So I promise to post more very very soon. I just couldn't keep the good news to myself!!

Happy Halloween!
Yesterday was a very interesting day. I was dressed up like a hotdog and handed candy out to princesses, colts players, clowns, power rangers, bugs and so much more. I am not sure why I was staying home while the other kids were out playing, mom said something about it being better to give then to receive...i think the real reason has to do with me having no teeth! Maybe next year. This last weekend I was in Ohio visiting Grandma and Grandpa Brodbeck. I also got to play with Keaton and Chaney and Aunt Tara and Uncle Kyle. I won't be a snitch and tell on my uncle but there was an incident involving chocolate that I am sure won't make mommy and daddy very happy. I also celebrate my 3 month birthday! Can you believe I am that old already? I occassionally roll over, but never when dad is around. It is a silly game I am playing with him. Well here are some pictures for you to enjoy!!

Sick again!
I went to the doctor again today because mommy and daddy thought I have been acting fussy...good thing they are such observant parents because I have ear infections again! But don't feel too sorry for me because mom and dad cuddle me lots when I am sick and I get bubble gum juice to help me feel better...

Getting Bigger Every Day!
It has finally started to cool off here in Indiana, I hope I have seen as cold as it will ever get! But since it has cooled down I am now wearing these things called pants. For as long as I can remember I only wore shirts that snapped around my diaper. I am glad to be wearing pants because so many people would pinch my thighs when they were exposed and comment on how chubby they were. I was starting to get a complex. Well enough about the weather, lets get down to the important stuff...me! The last couple of nights I have allowed mommy and daddy to sleep a little bit more. Not completely through the night and not without some fight, but I will admit I am doing longer stretches which seems to make mom and dad happy. I just love seeing them so much, why would I ever want to go a whole night without waking up to see them? I have also been told of an event coming up called Halloween. Apparently it is a time when people dress up, decorate pumpkins and collect candy. Mom said I can only participate in the first two activities...no candy yet (eventhough dad did put a pickle to my mouth, I couldn't unpucker my lips for what seemed like hours). Tonight I used my feet to paint a pumpkin, dad said a knife would be too dangerous for me. I have some pictures of that for you to see. I do need your help with something...I am having trouble deciding what to be for Halloween. I have two costumes that I want you to vote on...should I be a frog or a hotdog?? Let me know what you think...Well it is bedtime..Love you all...

News from the Doctor!
I had my two month appointment this week and I am pretty sure that the needles they jabbed into my precious leg were not necessary!! Mom and dad assured me it was to keep me healthy, but I didn't realize health came at such a painful price. It took me pretty much the entire day to sleep it off. By the time nightime rolled around I was good to go. For some reason mom and dad thought that was naughty of me. But while at the doctore we found out that I am almost 13 pounds. I am officially 2 feet tall, I prefer to be measured in feet and not inches. The doctor told me I had a good size melon, which is being blamed on my mommy's side of the family. I don't think blame is the right word choice, I prefer accredited to her family. Overall I am a growing healthy boy who is in the 75th percentile for height, weight and head size. Talk about being proportional! Here are some bits of eye candy for you to enjoy (pictures)....

Can you believe I am 8 weeks!!?
Saturday I celebrated 8 weeks since I entered the world. And when I say celebrated, I really mean it. Grandma and Grandpa Brodbeck came down with my cousins Keaton and Chaney and they took me to the circus and the children's museum! I saw lots of animals and acrobats, and Keaton told me lots of stories. When I got home dad and I went swimming! It was lots of fun, kind of like a giant bath...but a little cooler.
The last couple of weeks I have been battling a cold, but after going to the doctor today it seems that the cold won. I have an ear infection and I have to take bubble gum flavored medicine. If that is what bubble gum actually tastes like, I never want any!
I have lots of pictures of my big adventures, but I am waiting for Grandma to send them to me so I can share them with all of you. Check back soon!!!!

Being Silly With The Camera
Sunday, September 9, 2007
Grandpa Stewart bought me some winter outifts that he thought I needed to have. Daddy thought it would be funny to dress me up and take pictures. If I look out of it, that is actually humiliation that you are seeing. But I am looking forward to growing big so I can fit into them this winter.
I went to church this morning, but I may have insulted the pastor, because I slept through most of it. But it could also be because I have my very first cold. How can you have a cold when it is hot outside? But mpm keeps sticking a turkey baster in my nose, I think she is trying to suck out my brain. I was sitting in my swing this afternoon and mom came over to see me and I greeted her with a waterfall of snot that shot out my nose like a rocket. We both found it very amusing. Despite how much mom enjoyed the show, I would rather not have that happen again, I'm tired of feeling yucky!!!
Grandma and Grandpa Brodbeck came down to see me this weekend. But they must have brought the rain with them, because since they arrived the weather has been pretty gloomy. Grandma and I tried to go for a walk and it started to rain on us, good thing my stroller has a canopy or I would have been wet like grandpa who grilled us dinner in a down pour!!
Despite being sick I am smiling lots now and I am even almost starting to laugh! I discovered that there is a mirror over my swing that has the face of some good looking baby. I am also starting to use my voice, I love to talk. I was starting to talk during church and dad put a pacifier in my mouth, how rude. I guess he will never know what I was going to say.
I can hardly believe I am six weeks old already. I am excited to see how I learn and grow this next week!

Third Times A Charm
I have been having difficulty updating my blog because the computer has been kicking me off the internet as soon as I try to publish my exciting adventures. So I have waited a few days and I hope in my absence it has learned its lesson.
My great grandma Vonda came to see me, and now I know why they call her GREAT grandma. She was so much fun, and I am not just saying that because she only had great things to say about me, like how handsome and well behaved I am. I was said to see her go, but I am eager to visit her in Sunny L.A.
Last weekend I made my first out of state trip! I was told that I was a very good boy, but I don't remember much because I slept the whole way. Once we made it to Ohio, we took grandma and grandpa to a baseball game, where grandma Sherri was surprised by a 50th birthday party. I got to meet a lot of family and friends that I hadn't seen before, but don't quiz me on names I don't remember! I spent the next day with mom, dad, grandma and my cousins. I even survived my first tornado!! Cousin Keaton shared his blanket with me in the basement so I wouldn't be afraid!
On Saturday, grandma, mom and I went to Michigan to visit dad and the jr. high students who were at Miracle camp for a retreat. Most people go their whole lives never leaving the state they were born in, and at 4 weeks I had been to 3! Grandma showed me around camp and made me excited to go myself one day when I am bigger.
I returned home from Ohio Sunday afternoon. It was good to be back, except I didn't like what happened next. My mommy got the flu!! Do you know what it's like to have your mom out of commission? But dad and nini (grandma stewart) took good care of me.
I had my first BIG BOY bath! At first I didn't think it was the greatest thing, but I am getting used to it. Just don't do it when I am hungry and tired!!
I have many pictures that go along with my adventures, but they will be added tomorrow...so check back and see how much I have grown.

Week Two
Sorry, my computer has been down for the last couple of days (I was having trouble "borrowing" the internet from the neighbors). I am just over 2 weeks old, and life is good. I had another doctors appointment last Friday and he had great things to say about me! I weighed in at a whopping 8lbs 4oz and grew about an inch! Mom is hoping I will start to fit into some of my clothes before the seasons change. I am not sure what a season is, all I know is that Indiana is HOT!
Today mom and I went for a walk because it was not too hot in the morning. I got to see the neighborhood and I think it looks like a nice place to live. This week is an exciting week for me. Tomorrow Grandma Brodbeck is coming to watch me so my Dad can take mom out for their anniversary. I told Dad I would share mom just this once! And then on Thursday my Great Grandma from California is coming just to see me! I can hardly wait!! Maybe she will bring me a treat from the 99cent store :)
Here are a few artistic pictures for your viewing pleasure...

My first weekend at home!
Sorry for not writing much lately, but I have had a busy weekend. Friday was my first doctors appointment and I passed with flying colors. They told me that everything looked healthy. I think the nurse was pretty impressed by me. Just between us, I think she digs me. It could have been that I peed on her table or that I had gained 6 ounces more than she had hoped!!
Yesterday some of mommy and daddy's Junior High students threw me a welcome to the world shower. There was cake, brownies, donuts...but for some reason I wasn't allowed to have any. We played some games and I got some really nice gifts. I really feel loved!
I have also had a couple slumber parties already. Grandma Stewart (Nini) spent the night with me on Thursday, but with all of the excitement I was too tired to stay up and play with her. Grandma and Grandpa Brodbeck came in last night. Grandma was ready to pull the late shift when I started to fuss, but I only woke up ONE time. I will be sure not to let that happen too much. I don't want mommy and daddy to miss me during the night.

Today at home was great
I finally got to spend some time in my house. I love it. I spent a lot of time in my swing. I think that will be my favorite spot in the house, although my room is pretty sweet too.
Tonight mommy and daddy had some friends (Derek and Holly) come and bring over dinner for them. But I noticed that they didn't bring me anything to eat, so check out these pictures to see what I did to Holly. That'll show her!!!
