Can you believe I am 8 weeks!!?

Saturday I celebrated 8 weeks since I entered the world. And when I say celebrated, I really mean it. Grandma and Grandpa Brodbeck came down with my cousins Keaton and Chaney and they took me to the circus and the children's museum! I saw lots of animals and acrobats, and Keaton told me lots of stories. When I got home dad and I went swimming! It was lots of fun, kind of like a giant bath...but a little cooler.

The last couple of weeks I have been battling a cold, but after going to the doctor today it seems that the cold won. I have an ear infection and I have to take bubble gum flavored medicine. If that is what bubble gum actually tastes like, I never want any!

I have lots of pictures of my big adventures, but I am waiting for Grandma to send them to me so I can share them with all of you. Check back soon!!!!

Being Silly With The Camera

Today I was at my mommy and daddy's friends house and they took some silly pictures of me. I was a good sport, even though I think they were laughing more at me than with me, So here are a few crazy pictures of me at 7 weeks...tell me what you think?

Grandpa Stewart bought me some winter outifts that he thought I needed to have. Daddy thought it would be funny to dress me up and take pictures. If I look out of it, that is actually humiliation that you are seeing. But I am looking forward to growing big so I can fit into them this winter.

I went to church this morning, but I may have insulted the pastor, because I slept through most of it. But it could also be because I have my very first cold. How can you have a cold when it is hot outside? But mpm keeps sticking a turkey baster in my nose, I think she is trying to suck out my brain. I was sitting in my swing this afternoon and mom came over to see me and I greeted her with a waterfall of snot that shot out my nose like a rocket. We both found it very amusing. Despite how much mom enjoyed the show, I would rather not have that happen again, I'm tired of feeling yucky!!!

Grandma and Grandpa Brodbeck came down to see me this weekend. But they must have brought the rain with them, because since they arrived the weather has been pretty gloomy. Grandma and I tried to go for a walk and it started to rain on us, good thing my stroller has a canopy or I would have been wet like grandpa who grilled us dinner in a down pour!!

Despite being sick I am smiling lots now and I am even almost starting to laugh! I discovered that there is a mirror over my swing that has the face of some good looking baby. I am also starting to use my voice, I love to talk. I was starting to talk during church and dad put a pacifier in my mouth, how rude. I guess he will never know what I was going to say.

I can hardly believe I am six weeks old already. I am excited to see how I learn and grow this next week!

Third Times A Charm

I have been having difficulty updating my blog because the computer has been kicking me off the internet as soon as I try to publish my exciting adventures. So I have waited a few days and I hope in my absence it has learned its lesson.

My great grandma Vonda came to see me, and now I know why they call her GREAT grandma. She was so much fun, and I am not just saying that because she only had great things to say about me, like how handsome and well behaved I am. I was said to see her go, but I am eager to visit her in Sunny L.A.

Last weekend I made my first out of state trip! I was told that I was a very good boy, but I don't remember much because I slept the whole way. Once we made it to Ohio, we took grandma and grandpa to a baseball game, where grandma Sherri was surprised by a 50th birthday party. I got to meet a lot of family and friends that I hadn't seen before, but don't quiz me on names I don't remember! I spent the next day with mom, dad, grandma and my cousins. I even survived my first tornado!! Cousin Keaton shared his blanket with me in the basement so I wouldn't be afraid!

On Saturday, grandma, mom and I went to Michigan to visit dad and the jr. high students who were at Miracle camp for a retreat. Most people go their whole lives never leaving the state they were born in, and at 4 weeks I had been to 3! Grandma showed me around camp and made me excited to go myself one day when I am bigger.

I returned home from Ohio Sunday afternoon. It was good to be back, except I didn't like what happened next. My mommy got the flu!! Do you know what it's like to have your mom out of commission? But dad and nini (grandma stewart) took good care of me.

I had my first BIG BOY bath! At first I didn't think it was the greatest thing, but I am getting used to it. Just don't do it when I am hungry and tired!!

I have many pictures that go along with my adventures, but they will be added tomorrow...so check back and see how much I have grown.
