My peeps

I don't know why, but for some reason they all want pictures with me!!!!

My last full day in the hospital

I get to go home tomorrow. This was one of the best pictures of the day. Daddy went to work today so that he could take off the rest of the week to hang out with mom and I. I'm not sure what we're going to do, but I'm hoping we'll go to play golf... wahhh wahhh wahhhh... Sorry, dad took over the keyboard and I had to fight him to get back on the computer. That was him that pretended to me and wanted to go golfing. I don't think golf would be too fun yet. I'll mostly just sleep and maybe eat a little more. I'll keep you updated.

Today was a fun day. I had a few visitors again, I'll post their pictures in a little while. Hopefully tonight mom will let me have a full night sleep and won't wake me up. It's time to get a little more sleep for the day!

a long day

I'm winding down for the day. I just finshed eating and now I'm getting tired. I had a lot of visitors today from near and far, and I just found out that my great grandma in California is coming all the way to see me in two weeks. How old do I have to be to eat at "IN and Out Burger"?

my best picture yet

All I can say is "America's next top baby model"

Great Grandma and Grandpa Brodbeck

Today Grandma and Grandpa Brodbeck drove all the way to see me from Michigan. So I opened my eyes and took a good look at them for a while. It was the least that I could do, because they drove all this way to see me. Daddy tried to convince me that they drove here to just to see him, but I know he was just teasing me.

It's rough being popular

It's tough being popular. I get held all day long, everyone tells me I'm so cute, and then I get kisses. I just wish daddy would stop taking so many pictures. That flash is bright! Today I had a lot of visitors. Most of them from church. Mary and Joe stopped by and so did Dave and Dawn. Also the whole stiff family stopped by as well. Little did I know that Andy was a seamstress, and made me a amazing blanket. I can't wait to fill it with drool and mark my territory. If I knew life was this good, I wouldn't have waited 9 months to come out!

A contest for all

I've decided to have a contest. Whoever comes up with the best caption for this picture, wins!!! And the prize is, you get to babysit me!!!!

Comment your captions.

Comment update:
You've all been pretty funny, but I'd have to say that Jim is winning in my mind right now.

Corbin Day 2

Today I've had a lot of visitors. I had some people from my mommy and daddy's lifegroup and other friends from church. Here are some pictures of my day, it looks a lot like yesterday. I think I can get used to having people hold me all day and snuggle. Keep sending your comments, I read each one of them. Well not really, mommy and daddy read them and then tell it to me. I'm only a day old, I can't read!!! Don't ask me to explain how I type then.
Currently Grandpa Stewart is trying to burp me, but I'm holding in all my gas for when mommy holds me. She thinks it's cute that I have gas. This morning I had a terrible surgery done to a part of me that I'm not allowed to talk about. Mommy said it's private. So needless to I'm really sore, but I'm still having a great day. I'll blog more again later, now it's time to sleep. I seem to like that.

We've got many more to post later!! keep checking back

It's my Birthday!!!

Corbin Elijah was born this afternoon at 12:07 pm. He weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces and is so healthy. The birth didn't go exactly as we planned but it did go as God planned. After pushing for a while the doctors determined that it wasn't safe to keep pushing because Corbin's heart rate would drop with each push. We later found out that his umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck, twice. The doctors were amazing and performed a beautiful cessarian section. At 12:07 Corbin was born and he's perfect. He's so excited to meet all our friends and family.
