Sick little man

It's that time again...sickness has struck Corbin. Hopefully we have it under control with antibiotics, steriods, and breathing treatments! And it is true what they say about roid rage...moody! :)

The mask is back, but with a little string cheese persuasion he actually sat for nearly half of the treatment!

"Resting" on the couch...it's hard to convince him to slowdown when he is sick!

Best Buds

Corbin is obsessed with "his baby." He needs to know where she is and what she is doing at all times. We have heard remarks like "Hi Quincy, it's Corbin. I am your big brother." "Quincy and chocolate milk are my favorite!" "Can the baby tuck me in." "She is my sister and I like to hold her." The only ill words we have heard from him was when she was getting her diaper changed. She was screaming and he said "that is why you shouldn't have had a baby. Now I can't hear that tv!" But that comment was followed by him coming over and telling her "it's ok baby. You are alright." Hopefully Corbin will be as good of a big brother as his mommy's were!

I want back in the belly...

So far life outside the belly has been rough. For the first nine months I floated in a warm bath where I ate, slept and played at my leisure, now eating is a chore that typically results in what I have heard people refer to as projectile vomit. Whatever it is, it is gross and unwelcome! The doctor was concerned that I may have pyloric stenosis, so this week I had xrays and an upper GI. Everyone thought Corbin was young when he had xrays...I showed him up! Tests showed that I have reflux, which is a fancy word for I whimper while I eat and don't eat much, cringe and cry after I eat, and if I am not positioned just so, will lose whatever it was I just consumed!! The dr. also suspects a milk intolerance, so a special formula has helped clear up an unsightly rash near my lady parts. Other than that, I AM GREAT! I am looking forward to having a huge feast on Thursday!

Up close and personal...

Growing bigger every day! We had our two week appointment and Quincy is gaining weight very well, hopefully her mom loses it just as well :) She is already up to
7lbs 8oz, nearly the starting weight of her big brother. She is measuring right at 50% for weight and height, and only 25% for head (not taking after the Stewart side so far)! So far she is our little peanut compared to her brother, who we have gained a new appreciation for "BIG BONED." Corbin LOVES his sister. He was holding her the other day and as he look at her he said "I'm Corbin, your big brother!" then leaned in and kissed her! Melted my heart!! I know I need to remember these moments because I am sure it will be no time before they are fighting over toys, racing for shotgun, and even Corbin getting mad that all his friends have a crush on Qunicy!!

Happy Halloween

Mommy and daddy snuck away from the hospital early so they could see me trick or treat, I feel loved! Even Quincy got dressed up for the ocassion!
